Today I will be reflecting on my work, that I have posted so far on this blog. I have posted brainstorming ideas, because that was what I was going to do on my blog. I had it planned out for me, before I could publish it on the web. When I brainstormed my blog on 2 large pieces of paper I let all my ideas that I had out. Then I posted my table into my blog. The table helped me know how to make a better blog. I had 5 topics to talk about, and say how to improve them in my blog. The 5 topics where (Graphics, Background, Videos, Feedback/Comments, Titles). When writing how to have good graphics in my table I said pictures on your blog will get more attention to your readers. You should have pictures that make sense to your topic that you are going to talk about, so the reader would not get mixed up with your information that you have on your blog and the pictures that you have on your blog. For background I said that readers like color and designs on your blog or like it simple but with some color. Designs could make your blog look much better, and simple makes your blog look classy. In the videos section I said some readers would like to watch videos, than read your stories. They could be tired or lazy that day and would prefer to watch things. Some of the readers are interested in reading your information, they might want to improve their reading skills. People on blogs understand things by different ways either reading, watching, or looking at pictures. For feedback, they are important for the bloggers. They could make the bloggers improve their blogs and make it better for the viewers, so they could enjoy looking at the blog. For the comments section, the bloggers might get hurtful comments or enjoyable comments to read. Comments can make the bloggers emotional in a good way and in a bad way. My advice for the bloggers is to ignore the bad comments, because you know you are doing a great job in blogging and those bad comments are an influence in your blogs, and want you to feel bad. In the title section they show up in many places to tell you what the topic is about this website. If a blog does not have a title than the readers would have to read the entire blog to know what it was about. Titles are the most important thing on websites and blogs, you have to have a title that introduces what you are going to talk about on your website or blog. I posted a video of how to create your own Weebly.com Website/Blog, so if you are interested in creating your own blog, check out the video. Your Website/Blog could be about anything you want. But make sure that the website could be interesting for the viewers to check out. Make sure when you create your blog to first brainstorm, and research how to make a good blog. The rubrics that I have posted is to see how we are getting graded, and to read the highest level of band and see if you have everything the teacher has suggested to have so we could achieve a good grade on our projects and assignments.
